Sassafrass is a family-run café & event space on Mount Desert Island, serving specialty coffee, simple nourishing meals, and snacks alongside herbal tonics, teas, and a small selection of wines, ciders, and brews.

We work closely with local farms, fisheries, and producers, believing food is a powerful way to support both personal & community well-being.

Alongside our daily offerings, we host intimate dinners, seasonal gatherings, and live music
